Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Oneida, Owner Wis. Board of Commissioners of Public Lands and was included in rare plant survey of selected BCPL lands. Surrounding land is Oneida Co. Forest [orig. R8W-err].

Habitat: Growing in sphagnum and feather moss in a high quality cedar/fir/alder swamp. About 50% cover. Associates included Cornus stolonifera, Osmunda regalis, Rubus pubescens, Ledum, Triantalis, Coptis, Thelypteris palustris, Galium triflorum, Saxifraga pensylvanica, Linnaea, and various sedges. Triglochin maritimum and Carex tenuiflora are also found in this swamp. Cypripedium calceolus is common in places and C. parviflora has been reported. Two clumps: one had 2 flowering stems and 1 sterile stem; the otherconsisted of 7 sterile stems.
