Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Chippewa, Chippewa County Forest (Site 201, about a half mi W of Firth Lake along a small stream, same stream from N end of Site 201 with another Poa paludigena location)

Habitat: Growing in partial shade in a shrubby mixed alder-black ash swamp on large tussocks of Carex bromoides over-hanging open water, near a small, flowing stream. With Impatiens capensis, Laportea canadensis, Glyceria striata, Carex stipata, Festuca subverticillata, Boehemeria cylindrica, and Galium asprellum. Rare. At perhaps five pools, there are six tufts on hummocks. Other suitable areas are uncommon and did not yield Poa. (Same collection area as collection No. 03070).
