Habitat:
Excellent-quality extensive open bog (very wet, alkaline (?)meadow) on side of lake. Soil composed of sphagnum and peat; sedges (Carex limosa, C. paupercula, C. cephalantha, Scirpus hudsonianus), orchids (Calopogon pulchellus, Pogonia ophioglossoides, Habenaria clavellata), Triglochin maritima, Juncus stygius, Xyris montana, Rhynchospora capill.
