Habitat: Wet Carex--dominated E. side of gorgeous (never plowed) wet--mesic prairie remnant with Carex buxbaumii, C. lanuginosa, C. sartwellii, C. tenera, C. tetanica, Hypoxis hirsuta, Salix petiolaris, Anemone canadensis, Saxifraga pensylvanica, Fragaria virginiana, Viola sp., Zizia aurea, Phlox pilosa var. fulgida, Galium obtusum var. ramosum, the rare Cacalia tuberosa & Silphium terebinthinaceum. Scattered here, more common along edge of adjacent oak woods.
