Habitat:
A long, curving sandstone ridge capped by a thin rocky layer of limestone with large, high-quality dry prairie on portions of N-facing slopes and all across top. Open rocky sandy slope, with Arabis lyrata, Arenaria stricta ssp. stricta, Oxalis violacea, Viola pedata, Scutellaria leonardii, and Senecio plattensis (s.s.).
