Habitat:
In N portion of marsh NNW of cabin; just S of cornfield border in ecotone between low wetland and uplands. Found with Typha, Solidago, Carex spp., Polygonum, grasses. Less common sedge remotely scattered along marsh edge; in wet rich soil. Little to no shade. Minor S-facing slope. Growing in a cespitose fashion.
