Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Sawyer, Floating 50 acre bog island in Lake Chippewa, Chippewa Flowage. The island is moved by storms through Sections 14, 22, 23, 26, and 27 of T40N, R07W. Now stranded in SW4 Sec.14

Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Thickets and groves of Alnus rugosa, Betula glandulifera, Larix laricina, Picea mariana, Betula papyrifera. (Trees to 12 m. tall!) Small tree 8 m tall. Rare.
