Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Seasonally wet boreal forest (swamp); Thuja occidentalis (1 dom.) -- Betula papyrifera (2 dom.), with Abies balsamea and Acer spicatum. Associated species for Cochrane & Cochrane 9228-9231: Mossy, sedge-dominated understory with few other herbs. Assoc.: Dryopteris spinulosa, s.l., Carex brunnescens, C. trisperma, C. intumenscens, C. tuckermanii, C. crinita, Maianthemum canadensis, Trientalis borealis. Loosely cespitose, several clumps of from 2 to 57 culms. Only population known on any of the islands.
