Habitat:
A.) Actively pastured (ruined) river bottom sedge meadow, grading sharply at water's edge into B) Narrow zone of muddy wet marsh. Soil: fairly raw mucky peat; water: plentiful even during dry part of summer. Associated species for Cochrane 10102-10109: Cyperus diandrus, C. strigosus, Eleocharis erythrodpoda, Polygonum hydropiper, Penthorum sedoides, Lycopus americanus, Mentha arvensis var. glabrata, Mimulus ringens, Galium trifidum, & Bidens cernua.
