Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Additional information for Cochrane et al. 12365-13368: Sand barrens (i.e., open xeric habitat supporting prairie-like vegetation) with a small blowout with a single plant of Opuntia compressa var. macrorhiza. Andropogon scoparius the aspect dominant, with Carex muhlenbergii, Cyperus lupulinus ssp. macilentus, Cenchrus longispinus, ground lichens, Bulbostylis capillaris, Lespedeza capitata, Polygala polygama, Asclepias ampexicaulis, A. viridiflora, Physalis virginiana var. virginiana, Linaria canadensis, and Aster linariifolius.
