Habitat: Along gravelly, sandy lakeshore, in wet sand at shore and in water to 4" deep, the immediate area free of vegetation except for some Sagittaria. Additional notes for 5390: In full sun on lee tip of small point. Bounded on deep water side by Potamogeton-Pontederia-Najas-Utricularia society and on sandy rocky shore by Salix interior with Spirea tomentosa and Cyperus esculentus, Verbena hastata, Agalinis. Very common.
