Habitat:
At edge of a floating vegetation/peat mat in about an inch of water. Dominant species anchoring the mat at the edge is Scirpus acutus. Other associates include: Triglochin palustre, Agalinis purpurea, Lobelia siphilitica, Nymphaea odorata (growing in the water), Utricularia gibba.
