Habitat: Extensive, diverse and open fen developed on a combination of sedge peat and marl. A.) Main wet meadow, grading into several very shallow pond-like depressions. Assoc. species for Cochrane, et al. 10322-10335: Carex lasiocarpa dominant, C. sterilis subdominant, with Thelypteris palustris v. pubescens, Parnassia glauca & Potentilla fruticosa all abundant, & Equisetum arvense, E. fluviatile, Carex buxbaumii, C. leptalea, C. interior, Eleocharis erythropoda, E. pauciflora v. fernaldii, Liparis loeselii, Salix spp. (incl. S. candida, S. pedicellaris), Drosera rotundifolia, Hypericum kalmianum (rare), Pedicularis lanceolata, Cirsium muticum, Aster junciformis, etc.
