Habitat: Carex-Typha mossy extensive floating lakeshore mat with abundant Thelypteris palustris and Sagittaria sp. Additional associates for Cochrane & Cochrane 7411-7421: Equisetum fluviatile, Typha latifolia, Sparganium eurycarpum, Agrostis gigantea, Calamagrostis canadensis, Spartina pectinata, Carex aquatilis, C. sartwellii, Eleocharis erythropoda, Salix discolor, S. interior, Polygonum natans, Rumex sp., Stellaria calycantha, Epilobium strictum, Cicuta bulbifera, Cornus stolonifera, Lysimachia terrestris, Asclepias incarnata, Lycopus americanus, L. uniflorus, Mentha arvensis, Scutellaria galericulata, S. lateriflora, Galium trifidum, Campanula aparinoides, Aster simplex, Eupatorium maculatum, E. perfoliatum, Solidago.
