Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Upper side of weedy, more/less bottomland hardwoods on silt-loam soil; sedge abundant in opening with saplings, coming back from grazing & logging 15-30 yrs ago. Assoc: Carex bromoides, C. cephaloidea, C. hirtifolia, Cryptotaenia, Galium concinnum. Additional assoc. for Cochrane & Cochrane 6528, 6530-6533: Carex rosea, C. pensylvanica, Geranium maculatum, Rhus radicans, and Sanicula marilandica. This species occuring mostly in bottomland.
