Habitat:
Streching along shore in an area of Wabash Silt Loam artificially opened by grazeing. Assoc.: Glyceria striata, Salix rigida, Aster prenanthoides, Rumex sp., Barbarea vulgaris, Senecio aureus. In cespitose tussocks, these looser & smaller than in C. sticta; forming an open bed.
