Habitat: Boggy, meadow-like sedge mat; in fibrous peaty silt of bottom of brown water lake at water level at edge of mat (no gradation onto marsh or emergent aquatics). Assoc. with Carex comosa and Campanula aparinoides var. grandiflora.
