Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: In cracks of weathered railroad ties; assoc. in these cracks with Carex blanda; in the roadbed gravel between the ties are Tradescantia ohiensis, Chrysanthemum leucanthemum, Lactuca serriola, and seedlings of Acer negundo and Prunus serotina. Abandoned railroad right-of-way through former prairie area, completely overgrown, the E side with a few individual prairie plants barely persisting, the W side quite wooded, with trees now reaching 10 m tall and patches of understory herbs (Hydrophyllum virginianum, Galium aparine). Prairie spp. with weedy tendencies occupy the roadbed gravel between the ties.
