Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Southern mesic forest (Acer saccharum dominant, Tilia americana subdominant, with Ostrya virginiana, Betula papyrifera, Quercus alba, Juniperus virginiana); steep N-facing slope, muddy, mossy, slightly disturbed ground; greyish, rather sandy, fine silty loam. Additional data for Cocharane & Cochrane 9026: Lower springy slope at base of bluff. Under Ostrya virginiana, Quercus alba, & Betula papyrifera, with Cystopteris sp., Carex pedunculata, C. peckii, Anemone quiquefolia, & Galium triflorum. Oldest (dried) leaves 2.9-3.2mm wide; anthers 3-3.1mm long. Densely cespitose, stems +/- weak, 104 in a clump 35cm across, 50cm in another direction.
