Habitat: Overgrown commercial cranberry bed. Wet peaty ground similar to sphagnum bog; associated spp.: Carex stricta, C. cephalantha, C. oligosperma, C. scoparia, C. chordorrhiza, Dulchium arundinaceum, Triadenum fraseri, and Vaccinium macrocarpon. Plant cespitose, 32-stemmed, with Dlichium, Triadenum & Vaccinium intermingled in its base.
