Habitat: Dryish disturbed pure Carex sedge meadow on Peat-AuGres (loamy sand peat overlying loose acid sand) between hwy & RR, with scattered small trees of Larix laricina and Picea glauca. Additional Assoc. for Cochrane & Cochrane 7288-7293: Glyceria canadensis, Carex aquatilis, C. bebbii, C. stricta, C. lacustris, Scirpus cyperinus, Juncus effusus, Iris versicolor, Salix discolor, S. petiolaris, Alnus incana ssp. rugosa, Ribes hirtellum, Rubus idaeus, Spiraea tomentosa, Lysimachia terrestris, Campanula aparinoides, Aster simplex.
