Habitat: Damp open sandy ground. Mossy pockets atop & between flat bedrock along grassy, weedy edges of outbuilding yards, with Carex deflexa, C. brunnescens, Juncus tenuis, Rumex acetosella, Ceratsium fontanum, and Vaccinium myrtilloides.
