Habitat:
Wet grassy roadside ditch; only a few individual native plants present, incl. Carex stricta, Cardamine pensylvanica, Solidago gigantea. Very densely cespitose, the slender culms erect to ascending. (Cf. photos, both kodachromes & B/W's)
