Habitat: Along edges of fine lane through dry Quercus velutina woods on somewhat developed soil along base of bluff on S side, with Populus grandidentata, Acer rubrum, Hamamelis virginiana, Panicum xanthophysum, Oryzopsis asperifolia, Lycopodium tristachyum, L. clavatum, Gaylussacia baccata, Lysimachia quadrifolia, Vaccinium angustifolium.
