Habitat: Disturbed tussock (these small) sedge meadow, now a grass marsh (not wet prairie) with Calamagrostis canadensis the dominant, with occasional small wetter depressions dominated by Typha latifolia. Associates: Dryopteris cristata, Onoclea sensibilis, Thelypteris palustris, Carex lacustris, C. scoparia, Scirpus pedicellatus, Sarix interior, Polygonum sagittatum, Rumex sp., Rubus idaeus, Spiraea tomentosa, Epilobium sp., Asclepias incarnata, Verbena hastata, Scutellaria
