Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Moderately grazed, lowest (bottom) edge of wooded slope of bluff, exactly where it meets upper edge of upper river terrace. Assoc.: Equisetum hyemale var. affine, Bouteloua hirsuta, Dianthus armeria, Helianthemum bicknellii, Lespedeza capitata, Lithospermum canescens, Panicum oligosanthes var. scribnerianum, Physalis heterophylla, Poa compressa, P. pratensis, Schizachyrium scoparium, Sporobolus cryptandrus, Tradescantia ohiensis. Habitat probably originally prairie rather than forest, the adjacent oaks being large and stumps absent, but grazing and overhead powerline are factors keeping it open.
