Habitat: Extensive, diverse and open fen all long shore (running for at least 1200ft) of lake. Main wet meadow, Carex sterilis dominant, C. lasiocarpa subdominant, with Thelypteris palustris var. pubescens, Parnassia glauca, and Potentilla fruticosa ssp. floribunda all abundant, and Equisetum arvense, E. fluviatile, Carex buxbaumii, C. leptalea, C. interior, Eleocharis erythropoda, E. compressa, E. pauciflora var. fernaldii, Eriophorum viridicarinatum, Liparis loeselii, Salix spp. (incl. S. candida, S. pedicellaris), Drosera rotundifolia, Pedicularis lanceolata, Hypericum kalmianum (rare), Viola nephrophylla, Utricularia intermedia, Cirsium muticum, Aster borealis. Most plants on an old dredge-spoil bank. Rare.
