Habitat:
Dry sand with Polygonum tenue. Disturbed dry sand prairie in river valley, now mostly planted to Christmas trees (Pinus strobus & P. sylvestris). Andropogon scoparius, Eragrostis spectabilis, Monarda punctata, Hedeoma hispidia, Rumex acetosella, Achillea millefolium.
