Habitat: Growing along west side of highway at border of woods, occasional. Growing among Desmodium glutinosum, Cirsium altissimum, Prenanthes alba, Lactuca biennis, Vitis aestivalis. Other roadside associates: Helianthus strumosus, Eupatorium purpureum, Aster sagittifolius, A. shortii, Veronicastrum virginicum, Rudbeckia laciniata.
Occurrence Remarks: Vegetation of Wisconsin Resurvey.
