Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: A sand terrace along the river, with wet prairie and scattered bur and black oaks. This is one of the largest contiguous remnant oak savannas of the Eastern U.S. It is badly infested in places with reed canary grass (Phalaris arundinacea). Tissue removed for DNA extraction (9-17-98).
