Habitat: Next to the big swampy spot with skunk cabbage in the heart of draw. Acer saccharum-Betula alleghaniensis-Ostrya virginiana forest in a narrow gorge of sandstone and conglomerate, the Arabis in a damp wooded ravine near the base of a sandstone cliff.
