Outstanding 122-acre, even-aged Quercus rubra forest with understory of Acer rubrum and Quercus alba; assoc.: Aralia racemosa, Brachyelytrum erectum, Carex grisea, C. hirtifolia, and Cornus rugosa. Forest lies on the terminal moraine that plugs the preglacial Wisconsin River gorge.
