Habitat:
In water 4" - 9' deep, sand bottom, with Najas flexilis and Potamogeton spirillus between Eleocharis smallii (very shallow along shore) and Pontederia-Polygonum coc, Brasenia (deep water) zones.
Occurrence Remarks:
Frequent. Local here, seen more commonly eastward along another shore with a floating-leaved Sparganium in one place, with Eriocaulon septangulare in another. [Mixed collection of Sagittaria latifolia [v0179740WIS] and Sagitttaria graminea subsp. graminea [v0176476WIS]]
