Habitat: At the edge of a wet calcareous sedge meadow/fen. Associates include Thelypteris palustris, Andropogon gerardii, Sporobolus heterolepis, Sorghastrum nutans, Solidago uliginosa, Solidago ohioensis, Pycnanthemum virginianum, Lobelia kalmii, Gentiana procera, Triglochin maritimum, Parnassia glauca, Cirsium muticum, Viola nephrophyllum, Carex tetanica, Carex sterilis, Scirpus cespitosus, Zizia aurea, Potentilla fruticosa, Betula glandulifera, Cornus stolonifera, Muhlenbergia glomerata, Carex letalea, Eleocharis erythropoda, Valeriana ciliata, Carex lasiocarpa. RR trestle/bed which used to span across the river and has been converted to a nature trail.
