Habitat: In 1 in. deep, clear and cold, bay water, in sandy crevices among dolomite cobble, beach pool in harbor, dominated by Juncus, Eleocharis, and Carex, with Eleocharis elliptica, Carex viridula, Potentilla anserima, Clamaintha glabella var. angustifolium, Ranunculus sceleratus, Lysimachia quadriflora, Tofieldia glutinosa, and Solidago ohiensis.
Verbatim Attributes: Corolla pale blue-violet with darker lines, 3-4mm in diameter. Anthers 0.6mm long.
Occurrence Remarks: Very local, a few plants.
