Habitat: Between RR and hwy. Growing with Poa compressa as well as Hieracium aurantiacum ands Asclepias verticillata and many other prairie plants. Growing along roadside and in old sandy excavation, and not in unplowed sand prairie. Penstemon gracilis ssp. wisconsinensis in full bloom, but growing in jack pine-oak savanna.
