Habitat: Found on upland island surrounded by a sedge meadow and cattail marsh. Disturbed oak savanna. Dominant canopy species is Quercus alba. Other associates include Arenaria lateriflora, Carex pensylvanica, Galium aparine, Desmodium glutinosum, Silene stellata, Hepatica americana, Smilacina racemosa, Viburnum rafinesquianum, Thalictrum dioicum, Amphicarpa bracteata, Anemonella thalictroides, Achillea millefolium, Anemone quinquifolia.
