Habitat: Wet muddy sand ("Boone Fine Sand") at water's edge. Assoc.: Cardamine pensylvanicum, Boehmeria cylindrica, Dicanthelium acuminatum var. fasiculatum, Ludwigia palustris, Gnaphalium uliginisoum. Cor. lobes whitish at apex, cor. tube greenish-yellow.
