Habitat: Along marsh edge adjacent to cornfield. Found with Typha, Urtica, Cornus, Carex spp., Vitis, Taraxacum, Solidalgo, Vicia, Potentilla, Thalictrum, Rubus, Fragaria, Equisetum, Erigeron, Echinocystis, Viburnum, grasses. Common around marsh edge in ecotone between wetland and upland. No shade.
