Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: With Krigia virginica, Panicum, Koeleria cristata, Hieracium longipilum, Silene antirrhina, Specularia perfoliata, mosses, Helianthemum canadense in very sandy dry open prairie, probably an old filed. Occasional. Flowers hanging, pale yellow with brown spots within. Filaments purple. With vertical taproots going deep into the sandy soil, broken off in this specimen before I found the bottom. No indication of lateral offshoots.
