Habitat:
Seepage spot in middle of side of clay bluff, 10 ft. above narrow beach. Assoc.: Aster lanceolatus, A. ericoides, Equisetum arvense (abundant), Solidago canadensis, S. graminifolia, and Typha angustifolia. Small cat-tail population: some number of stems of Typha angustifolia, few stems of T. latifolia, and none of T. Xglauca.
