Habitat: Larix laricina bog with Alnus rugosa, Ribes americanum, Symplocarpus foetidus, Onoclea sensibilis, Osmunda cinnamomea, Betula pumila, Viburnum lentago, Acer saccharinum, Ilex verticillata, Calla palustris, but no Sphagnum nor Ericaceae. Scattered, apprently rare. Stems less than 0.5m tall.
