Habitat:
Brushy woods with openings, ca. 70% tree cover, near top of ridge on SE-facing slope. Ungrazed. Tilia americana, Quercus rubra, Pteridium aquilinum, low Rhus radicans. Small shrub, appears to be badly shaded.
