Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Semi-open community. On wet non-acid peat, in ways resembling a conifer swamp (Larix laricina the aspect dominant; Rhus vernix present), in others a wet prairie ( densely grassy, w/ Calamagrostis canadensis dominant; Carex stricta present but not forming tussocks), but the prevalent groundlayer species a combination of those found in sedge meadow & shrub-carr. Typha latifolia (abundant), Thelypteris palustris (common), Impatiens biflora (common), Pilea fontana, Polygonum sagittatum, Galium labradoricum, G. tinctorium, Aster puniceus, Polygonum punctatum, Eupatorium maculatum, E. perfoliatum, Mentha canadensis, Chelone glabra, Cuscuta gronovii, Campanula uliginosa, Cicuta bulbif., Epilobium leptophyllum, Scutellaria galericulata, [see label for more]
