White oak, red oak--white pine relict transition on E-facinbg sandstone bluff top. Under Hamamelis virginiana, Vaccinium myrtilloides, with Monotropa uniflora, Aureolaria grandiflora, Gaultheria procumbens. Spreading to weakly upright; flrs. white.
