Habitat: Sedge meadow on peat deposit in small depression, latter an opening surrounded on N. by rd., W of Alnus-Cornus swamp, S and E by Thuja-Larix swamp. Carex sterilis (in loose tussocks) dominant, w/ Thuja occidentalis saplings, Thelypteris palustris, Panicum implicatum & galium labradoricum all subdominant. With Osmunda regalis var. spectabilis, Bromus ciliatus, Glyceria striata, Muhlenbergia glomerata, Anemone canadensis, Fragaria virginiana, RUbus pubescens, Nemopanthus mucronata,
