Habitat: Occassional in lakeshore wet marsh dominated by Glyceria canadensis and Dulichium arundinaceum with Leersia oryzoides, Eleocharis smallii, Typha latifolia, Scirpus cyperinus, Polygonum coccineum, Cicuta bulbifera. Also with Lysimachia terrestris, Scutellaria galericulata, Spiraea alba, S. tomentosa var. rosea. Bounded on deep water side by Brasenia, Nymphaea-Nuphar-Utricularia society, partly shaded by Acer saccharinum on rocky, sandy bank shore.
