Habitat:
In prairie remnant with Juniperus, Pinus, Amorpha, Rosa, Euphorbia, Centaurea, Helianthus spp., Liatris, Aster spp., Solidago spp., Bouteloua, Panicum, Andropogon spp, Eragrostis, and other prairie species. Less common in this upland prairie remnant now being invaded by exotic spp. No slope. No shade. Soil dry, sandy.
