Habitat: Growing at the margin of an Sphagnum bog, within 10 ft. of upland. Plants growing in damp Sphagnum moss in transitional zone where bog meets upland. Associated include Carex lasiocarpa, Scirpus cyperinus, Triadenum fraseri, Polygonum sagittatum, Lycopus uniflorus.
