Locality:
United States, Wisconsin, Walworth, Lulu Lake. Growing along the NE shore of Lulu Lake, about 0.1 mi S of the outlet where the Muskwonago River flows out of Lulu Lake. [See herbarium label.].

Habitat:
Growing in a fen/calcareous sedge meadow at the shore of the lake. About 10 m from the water and found growing in wet vegetation mat (floating?). Associates include: Gentianopsis procera, Drosera rotundifolia, Rhus vernix, Solidago uliginosa, Potentilla fruticosa, Muhlenbergia glomerata, Thelypteris palustris, Solidago ohioensis, Najas marina (in wet depressions).
